Not sure if I am the only parent who experienced this. I bought my gal's P2 books at Popular during the holidays and was told Stellar Handwriting book is available only at the bookstore. So last week and this week, I went to the school bookstore to buy and was told out of stock (not available) and to go to Popular bookstore instead.. I told them that already asked Popular at Bukit Timah Plaza and was told its available only in schools, bookstore rep, said try other Popular bookstores.. so we tried again...


So called bookstore again and told her that all Popular bookstors dont sell the Stellar Handwriting book..

So googled the Stellar Handwriting and found out, we can buy online here (Scroll down under Resource books):

Ever bought from Popular and found that the different is a few cents for each book. So, in total it could be a difference of a dollar to two, but then I still need to make a trip to the sch bookshop because we have to buy sch exercise books and files as these are only available in the sch bookshop. So, think of it, is it worth to make two different trips for just a dollar or two, then to purchase everything in just one go?

Ever told by a friend that the book she bought from Popular somehow different from the one sold in the sch bookshop, and can't be used even though it is the same publisher and edition...dun know why...so just be careful when you make your purchase.

My girl will be entering Pri 1 next week. CHIJ OLQP is one of my choices. As both my husband and I are working, I may need to enrol my girl in a student care.

Is the student care at SJC still in operation? I tried calling the office but nobody answers my call.

Does your child go to a student care centre?

How come your girl only starting primary one next week?
The student care at SJC is still in operation and in fact still under-enrolled.
The supervisors will bring your child over to the student care after your child have her lunch at the school canteen.
