Cox we wan to higher our chance to get into RMPS so hubby decide to join alumni. But we reg last nov no reply frm alumni n even sent email to principal also never reply. So wan to get direct contact of PIC of alumni frm parents here if any.

When is your child due for registration?

Actually, based on past years' statistics, your child's chance of getting in is not lower just because she is in P2A2. So far, the number who registered in P2A1 has been - zero (0).

I have the same form too. Contemplating if I should opt for library activities but was told by 1 mommy that kids cant move around or touch the books in the library. Is this true? Got to submit form tomorrow. Sigh

Yes, my DS told me that the bus aunt is very fierce, and they are not allowed to touch books in the library. They are asked to watch video that time. But my ds told me that the video was scary sometimes. 😞

Yes, I heard that they only watch video at the library. I think the canteen is still open after school.

          ezn cia:

The school January notification did not give details of P3 camp (which is scheduled on 23-24 Jan 2014 according to RMPS calendar of events), does this means that the overnight camp is being abolished? Or will there be a separate collateral just for P3 parents? :scratchhead:

Any parents can share their experience for last year? Thanks.

Unlikely it will be abolished. There will be a camp briefing for all the students nearer the date. Students will then be given a packing list.

Students will sleep in the school. Some of the day activities will take place outside the school, though.

According to the school calendar, it apparently has been postponed to 28-29 Mar. Guessed that the original dates are too close to CNY that triggered the change.

So, this event will be mentioned in either Feb or Mar's monthly notification, I guess.

Previous years, the children went up to Mt Faber on the first day and visited a farm on the second day.

P5s will be having their camp on Mon-Wed. Won’t the students be very tired? I thought it would make more sense to end the camp on a Friday so that the students have the weekend to "recuperate".

Any P6 parents can advise? How was it for your child last year?

Usually the camp would end on a Friday based on past experiences from some parents. I thought P5 they suppose to have camp out of the country. :imcool:

Last year was in Aug 13, Mon-Wed too. He took an afternoon nap after he reached home fr the camp.
On Wed nite, he slept early. We just make sure he finished all his homework, tingxie and spelling revision over the weekends before the camp.

My DS said that the PE teacher instructed them to wear their swimwear inside their school uniform for the upcoming swimming lesson. He had those full body suit (long sleeve and pants) instead of the trunks.

Any parents can confirm if they can change at Safra instead of wearing the swimwear from home?
