Oh, great... How do u find the teachers and materials? Which centre is your child in?hi there,
my son is attending p5 class at Oodles. what would you like to know?
My P3 girl just started with Concept Math. Only 2 lessons so far and I find they cover rather basic and fundamental stuff. While my girl is not weak in math, she's not that mathematically inclined either. Not sure if I'm too early to judge concept math, but I'm seriously thinking if it's worth the time/ effort/ money for her to continue.
I went to onsponge website, am rather surprised that the classes are not filled. Feeling quite helpless... Trying to find the right centre
Appreciate your feedback -
Hi raisintan,
my son is attending the thomson branch. he was there since p4. he was under a male teacher last year. My son enjoyed his lessons tremendously. According to my son, the coach( the kids address their teacher as coach) is very detailed (insist kids to underline keywords, draw model etc), able to explain well and has a good sense of humour. My son looked forward to class every week.
the worksheets are not easy but i am surprised my son can do it so i guess similar kind of questions may be taught in class.
the centre also conducts regular assessment to gauge how well the kids are coping.
I hope i answered your questions. -
Hi flametree,
Thanks for the prompt response. Do u know if there overlaps in the assessment book and classes? Or they are doing different materials? -
hi raisintan,
the worksheets in class are different from the assessment books. But I think the concepts that they cover seems similar, i think. -
Hi flametree,
