I give my girl $20 per week and pack snack for her recess. This is an increase of 100% of her primary school allowance. 😄

Mmmm… looks like $4~$5 seems to be the appropriate number.

But of course this is considering both recess and lunch allowance.

DD stays back three/four times a week, and she has been making do with $20/week allowance since Sec 1, and usually have some money left by end of week.

This $20 does not include payment for class funds, and other adhoc collection of money. She will tell me when she needs to pay for such items and I will pass the money to her.

DD received 2 letters last week.

                      1. 中学成语速学 - Every Mon morning for 10 lessons
Apparently started yesterday so she has missed the first lesson. Anyone attended it? Contemplating if we should register for the remaining 9 lessons, would appreciate any feedback if you/your dd has attended it.

                      2. Subscription to iThink & Discovery Channel Magazine.
Are they useful in your view?

                      Thanks.
