I have no idea how they calculate CCA points with the new guidelines.

Anyway CCS participates in SYF, and some other competitions like Chinese debate, or Chinese speech or Chinese calligraphy competitions. I’m not sure if the school still have Arts Festival (I forgot what they call it already) but if they still have it, that will be another opportunity for performance.

FYI, according to the NEA website, there is an active dengue cluster along willow, butterfly, and cedar ave.

You may want to get your girls to apply insect repellent as a prevention.

Heard from my girl that someone appeal to cedar IP today with 248. In addition she didn’t appeal to the school in the first place.

actually nothing very surprising. 245 also can appeal into RGS. 🤷

Hi, my dd has a classmate with 247. She came in via appeal. She is one of dd's bffs in Cedar. Most of my dd's classmates are btw 251-253, so I think 245 or 246 or 247 or 248 will fit right in.
If anything, my dd's PSLE score is probably the odd one out in her class. But like I always say to my 2 older sec-sch-going ones, plse leave your PSLE score at the door bef u step into your sch : )
There are girls transferring out. I just found out one has transferred to RGS and another St Nick's. They are both in the 25+ range. I guess there is much transfer movement this yr.

Owing to their good results this year, many Cedarians r applyg for Raffles. This is from my ds who has frens in the Cedar Ldrship Boards.
I know of a lady whose dd is a 2pter Cedarian applyg for Raffles. She runs a mixed rice stall at a hawker ctr near my place. Her dd scored 252 in her psle. She was a bit shocked when I told her Raffles' school fees. But I wasn't sure if her dd had gotten ESIP and even with ESIP how much wld she need to pay in real terms.

2 pointers definitely got the esip. Pay about $100+ but can still apply for bursary if meet the income requirement.
                      50 over cedarians at ri.
                      70 over cedarians at vj.

Apparently Cedar makes up one of the largest JAE intakes at the top schools. Any cedarians at HCI?
