I am curious if this is a core CCA or it is a club that the boys can join as a 2nd CCA. This will be held every Friday and most people have their CCA on Friday. Great if anyone could enlighten me.

Everyone takes only ONE CCA, select very wisely based on ability and interest. Very competitive for Sports CCA, CCA Dean said last year that unlike other schools, HCI does not hv 2nd team for Sports (ie to pass time or learn as hobby), all competitive players to win. UG also performed well and won many competitions. Easiliest CCA is Library (apparently only 6 Sec 1 last year). Every year there is also top CCA Awards ceremony.

For Sports, Term 1/2 and Hols can train up to 4x weekly.

My DS is in Sec 1, he is also not aware of any upcoming tests. Maybe teachers haven't informed them yet.

Anyway, besides ISP, do parents have access to any other portals for updates? Don't want to miss out on any important info. Noticed the iVLE portal has a parents login icon but tried accessing using DS's BC # but it doesn't work. Is it available for sec 1 parents? Getting worried with lack of info. Yes, DS should be more independent but still need to keep a watchful eye to ensure he is steering ahead on course. :nailbite:

Don’t think there’s a test for term1 for sec 1s. At the symposium, if i remember correctly, the school indicated that for the Term1 report, it’d only be on learning attitudes, etc.


does anyone know what time the boys end school on CNY Eve? My son is planning to pay a visit to his pri school with his classmates.

Figured out. I went to college portal just now. For high school, go to the high school portal as below:

Userid is pTxxxxxxxA, and same password. Change password at \"others\" after log in.
