$100 is about the price a Singaporean would pay to go to Genting.I enjoy small-time gambling....and I've been to a few casinos already, each time I go in, I would play around $200, until I've either lost it all, or become too tired, which then i will leave with whatever i have.
So if the casinos in SG are gonna charge $100 for entry, i'm not going in
and somehow i think it's a bad move, as much as i am against compulsive gambling, i think the moment u build a casino, it's like opening the gates to hell....wanna open, must open all the way, or else don't open at all. A half-baked effort will result in failure, which will hurt our economy

that's the thing, because i'm not a hardcore gambler, as in, i do not go to Genting for the casino, rather, for the amusement park. The casino is just a \"side trip\".

This $100 entrance fee will deter many small time gamers like me...and i hope not, but it might just be the casino's undoing

Casino donโt earn much from small time gamblers.
And big gamblers wonโt think much about the $100. They would probably think that they will recoup that $100 in no time. -

A casino devoid of small-time players, with nobody inside, will not attract high rollers. Pathologically, high-rollers are lonely people. Gambling is but a facade to be in the company of many people, and when they win, the \"limelight\" is on them...they feel like a star and the other gamblers are their fans. It's an addiction to narcissm, and the narcisstic one must have worshippers lol -
those are not the real high-rollers.
