Hi Candy08, based on inet, pupils who are not allocated to any CCA have to meet Mr. Choo in the hall at 2.15pm tomorrow.

She probably will be assigned a uniform group. She could try the cca for a term and if she still doesn't like it, she could opt to change after the term.[/quote]

There's a list of CCAs which still have places. She can go trial for those in the list she's interested in and see which one she gets selected into. Only if she still doesn't get a place will the school slot her into the remaining CCAs.

Same. DD also not allocated a CCA. Going for trials for the remaining vacancies. Hope that she will get a CCA of her choice :xedfingers:.
If still not selected (v high possibility as only left with 71 vacancies for ??? girls), she has to live happily with whatever CCA being given. :salute:

Actually uniform groups are great opportunities to learn leadership, life skills. I understand they will learn taekwondo, kayaking etc under NCC.

Just because they are not popular does not mean they are not interesting. Our girls are still very young, it is always good to adopt an open mind to try out new adventures rather than to stick to what is familiar. Mr Choo said many girls opt to stick to their uniform groups cca after trying out as the girls made great friends and find the uniform groups cca to be as interesting as any performing arts cca etc.

Being open minded is an important attribute in this new society

Yes, my collection is on saturday. They are sending it out in batches according to when you placed your order. Perhaps we placed our order earlier.

We ordered on 14 Jan. I emailed them yesterday and they replied that was a delay in shipment... so i guess mine is stuck till a later date...
