Regarding the on-going school enhancement, is there a target date for the completion of the library? My boy really like to read books

I think a functional library is really important in a school to inculcate good reading habit among the pupils. Hope it will be prioritized.

The library books are currently being processed in the school library by our librarian and will be ready for West Springers to loan from next month. Pupils will only get to occupy the library when the enhancement works are completed. This will take a few months to complete.

at here, I would like to request to you that could we have price list for canteen food vs volume?
I happened to get gossip from my girl, she told me she is very like the Malay food offered in canteen, but she spent 50cents to buy a quite small piece of samosa. and one piece is not enough for her to fill up her stomach ( I don't think her is a big eater), then she always has to buy 4pieces.
then roughly per day cost her $2 for recess.
as same, one piece chicken nugget also sell @ 50cents.

I am not a stinginess , but my personal feeling is the food sold in school should be cheaper than outsider, but looks like nowadays is getting same? :roll:

Once all the books have been catalogued and bar-coded by our librarian, pupils may be brought to the library to just loan the books but not to remain in the library to read. When the enhancement works start at the library, books will be brought to the classroom by the teachers for West Springers to borrow.

Dear Parents / Guardians,


We’ve uploaded many PLAY photos on flickr (the latest was uploaded last Friday, 14 Feb 2014). Please do visit our school website to take a look at our happy West Springers learning through PLAY. We’ve also just commemorated Total Defence Day and West Springers had a whale of a time last week!

At the same time, classes will be rostered to go to the school library to browse & read the books on display. Borrowing will only take effect next term when the pupils are issued with their EZLink cards by Transit Link Pte Ltd.
