My DS1 was also given the printed in copy.

Separately, the form teacher also gave a letter stating her qualification, teaching experiences and also her email address and handphone no :!: (but she clearly stated that to only SMS her for URGENT matters) and she will try to answer/reply to all calls, sms, email promptly.

Have SMS her once and she did reply promptly. 😄

I do agree that the acronyms can drive me nuts too.

I was equally flexxed when I see my son’s printed timetable sheet. And to make matters worst, he has EL (English) and ENG. I wrote an email to my son’s teacher and she repied immediately that it was a typo error.

I think the teacher should have anticipated the problem and added in legend at the foot of the timetable.

              Hi June,

I couldn’t agree more with you. Every year, I have to ask my son what the acronyms mean esp when M can stand for Maths or Music. Sometimes there are no legends at the bottom or on the back of the timetable to explain.
My son is lazy, so what he does is to put all the books inside his bag and not have to worry about forgetting to bring any textbook to school and get punished.
