how come so many delete post? did i miss out anything?

Although several posts have been deleted, I still wish to speak my mind about this matter...

Essentially, a group of P2 parents collectively sent an email to the principal, wanting to meet with her, to talk the state of affairs about this particular class - frequent absence of the class teachers, which affected the students' learning.

A copy of the email was then posted here by a parent, after which, he/she was being \"questioned\" regarding his/her intentions for posting the email.

As a fellow Pei Hwa parent, I don't see why the email can't be posted in this Pei Hwa thread. This thread allows parents to share with one another information pertaining to the school, be it positive or negative aspects of the school. I don't suppose the person who posted the email was trying to incite an uprising?? More likely, it is for sharing purposes only. In fact, it also serves as a reminder to other parents to be more vigilant about their children's learning in school.

Over the 1960 pages, I am grateful to past and present PH parents who are willing to share freely about their children's experiences with the school, both good and bad. I am sure many others parents have benefitted too.

No school is perfect. Parents should feel free to post both their bouquets and brickbats towards the school, without fear of being attacked or put down by others, especially those who no longer have a stake in the school.

How can any email, being a private one be posted on the public forums when it is not meant to be?

The feedback is still in resolution thus should never be made public for others to judge when they do not understand the details of the situation.

              please let this case rest.

parents are free to post bouquets and brickbats…but some level of sensitivity should be exercised whether those who still have a stake or not.

I have three children currently attending Pei Hwa. I had the opportunity to read the email before it was deleted, and while I agree that it is probably not wise to post the entire email (being private in nature) onto this public forum, the information shared is nevertheless still relevant and worrying. Especially so when my youngest child is also in Primary two this year. I checked with my girl and she confirmed that on Feb 14, three children from Respect 9 were sent to her class. I just hope that the school will handle this feedback swiftly and come out with appropriate measures. Seems like the staff deployment has gone from bad to worse. During my sons' time, their P1 and P2 classes had experienced being left alone unsupervised for an entire period with no teacher a few times. Now, it's an entire class with no teacher for the whole day!

This is my first post on this thread, and sorry that it has to be a brickbat. 😓
