Yes i personally think this new sch so far so good. teachers, P & VP are very caring. My kid loves the sch very much too. Last week my gal fell down in class, tripped over sch bag and her upper lip bleed. her form teacher brought her to GO immediately and Principal was there to give first aid. aft everything done she personally called my husb to inform the incident, and asked my kid to talk to the daddy to ensure she was allright, though her lip was bit swollen but stop bleeding. When i rch home, i asked her abt the incident. She told me P used ice pack to stop the bleeding, and VP brought her to toilet to wash her uniform (blood stain) & used the hand dryer to blow dry for her. I think they have handled very well in this and we feel very safe to have my kid there heheh !! +++

oh forogt to add on, the next day we dropped off her at the gate, P was there and she came to us and asked if my gal was ok, and she checked her wound and hugged her, saying \"kid, no worry u r still pretty\"...which i think this P is really caring & motherly, haha..

** Dino i am hoping for that too, the bus fare kinda ex.... -
Thanks patlsy70 for the update! Appreciate it. How about the work load, expectations for the parents
etc? -
Wow I am impressed. as I have a fren’s kid (in another school) who got similar falling accident. but his wound is even more frightening. and the teacher didn’t even inform my fren. End up the wound got infected and she have to feedback to the school…

I guess APS only have P1 students to handle & it’s their first yr so kind of under scrutiny? but weird why no open house. cux i heard d other new schs offer open houses.

Lower school bus charges would be nice..... btw my kid fell in school too..... teacher brought her to clean up wound and called up to update us what happened..... I think it's quite good of her to keep us updatedoh forogt to add on, the next day we dropped off her at the gate, P was there and she came to us and asked if my gal was ok, and she checked her wound and hugged her, saying \"kid, no worry u r still pretty\"...which i think this P is really caring & motherly, haha..

shopaholicmanic, frankly i dont know how to compare about workload/expeactation as this is my 1st child to enter P1. What I can share is, they almost every day/alt day come back with some homeworks. And, at beginning of the term, they were given a list for dictations & spelling for each week in term 1. Every Tues they got a dictation & spelling test. Aft the paper has been marked and returned on next day with marks given , teachr will ensure paretns to sign on it, kind of acknowledgment. Most of the worksheets they need us to acknowledge.
Dino…i think now i know why my gal was under P’s care instead of her teacher. As her teacher is a male. this does make sense i think. heheh. -
