Kovan Hub is the former bus interchange. Don't know what Sin Sin Chilli sauce you are talking about. :? -

Yeah better go now but where exactly is Kovan Hub ?????Is it the one next to the Soya bean drink stall at Kovan Hawker Centre/ Market? The stall is called something like \"Fa Ji\"
This is one of my fave stalls, apart from the Lavender's. It is run by a Cantonese family but is only open 3-4 days a week! This place will be closed for 8 months from 1 Apr 2010 for major refurbishment so better go now! -

No. It is the one on the right side of the staircase up from Kovan Hub, in between a Vegetarian Stall and Ponggol Bak Chor Mee.
izit near hougang ? -
yes, the "Fa Ji" wanton mee stall is just in front of the stairs, on the left side & next to the soya bean drink stall. There is usually a long Q, just like the one at Lavendar. You will see Ch U’s recommendation on its stall too.
I’ve tried one on the R side of the stairs near the Malay food stalls, & they use sin sin chilli sauce but the noodle is rather soggy, not my kind. -

Yes, it is in Hougang, you know where is Kovan MRT and Heartland Mall? Heartland Mall is directly above Kovan MRT and Kovan MRT is next to this hawker centre that I am talking about. To be exact, the hawker centre is Blk 209 Hougang Street 21, but I will get the exact unit number of the wantan mee stall for you the next time I go there. It is on the upper deck, but be careful when you are there. There are two wantan mee stalls on the upper deck, one is the one that I am talking about, the other one is horrible, to me that is!
Suggest that you do not go till I get the exact unit number for you.
All I know is that the wantan mee stall that I am talking about is sandwiched between a vegetarian stall and a stall selling Bak Chor Mee, called Ponggol Noodles or Bak Chor Mee (forgot the exact name).
In fact, :offtopic: a bit here, the Ponggol Bak Chor Mee is also a must try if you are there for the wantan mee. The owner lost his right hand in an industrial accident many years ago and it is amazing how he cooks good Bak Chor Mee just with his left hand. :salute: Maybe order one from each stall since they are right next to each other and kill 2 birds with one stone. -
Voila! The one I'm referring to is called \"51 MING FA WANTON MEE\" @ Kovan FC.
Here's a review & weblink fyi:
\"This stall called 51 Wanton egg noodles sells quite a variety of noodles and enjoys a bustling business which can be seen from the long queue. I'm not really sure about the opening time but the noodles usually sell out by around 1 - 2pm. So be there early! \"
