My boy also takes CL tuition now. Not so unusual, right? It's the only tuition he has bc that's his weak subject, mah. And my chinese worse than \"half-bucket\". I think only preschool standard now, even tho' I took cl until a-levels (altho' 2nd lang lah!), so cannot help him.

Yes. He started CL tuition since mid P5 and continued into P6. His least liked and weakest subject (so unlike hubby and I).

CL is the same syllabus wat. Got textbook. Anyway, language is fine one lah - in the end also need to take O/A levels for Mother Tongue. After all, it's just comprehension & composition. plus grammar?

I was not around during the Dean's talk. Was busy q'g outside bookshop

The CL tuition he is attending now covers only compo. Would be transferring to another that follows the textbook (with compo every three weeks).

But their English includes Literature together. Not easy to find this kind of tutor? Just monitor first lah.
