I went into the parent portal in NJC website. Noticed that the student attendence is not updated yet. Is it NJC didn’t update or my parent portal got bugs?

Didn't see the attendance got updated as well.

On a different note - not sure whether you all know about this infamous man \"observing\" school boys in shorts in the Bukit Timah / Bishan area. My DS has confirmed that he's seen him at the NJC / HCI busstop a few times a week since school started.

Could any NJC parents share what they know/heard about this man? I'd think the school knows about him since he's been \"famous\" for a while already?

Even HCI confession page talked about this

The thought of this man ogling at the JH boys makes me angry :stompfeet:

The ‘A’ levels results r out.

My elder boy told me only 5 students got 9 distinctions.

              Did he hear wrongly?

Jennifer, to score 9 distinctions a student would need to score distinctions in his 4 core subjects + PW + GP + MT + 2 H3 subjects. Certainly no mean feat. I believe only a handful of students nationwide have managed to achieve this distinction this year. So if NJC had 5 students who managed this achievement it isn't 'only 5 students', it's '5 students!!!' 🙂

                  😂

sorry sorry, I did not mean to belittle the achievement. My first thought was given the cohort size, is the number 5 too small?

Glad to hv my misconception cleared up.

                  :rahrah: NJC

Wow that is a good achievement.

RI got 4 students scored 9 distinction and Dunman is 1.

                    :rahrah: NJC.

But this wasn’t mentioned in the school’s website, which listed only the 7 and 8 distinctions. Maybe check with the school first to confirm?

How is your JH1 kid coping/adapting? My dd is coping and adapting well. She is VERY happy in NJC.

I am feeling happy for her. 🙂

Oh ya Parent meeting session is around the corner. :boogie: Which subject teacher you all are meeting?
