        Maths Tutor Mr. Lim:
        GLORYmum:

        Maths Tutor Mr Lim,

how do you expect children to understand you?

        Personal attack

        My student,
        CHIJ(OLN) Pri, 2014 P6 CA1 Maths 100 Marks.(only 1 in P6) 🕺

        Maths Tutor Mr Lim,

        questions posted by your students?

        you, my student :?

        :rotflmao:

This is not a personal attack ! I never do that but I am asking you to explain yourself clearly to everyone on this forum if you genuinely wish to help the anxious parents here. No need to fuel them with unnecessary anxiety and confusion.

Also please do not use this thread to glorify your achievement but if you wish to advertise your service, you can do so by contacting CKS and his team.

        Thank you.

I came here to kapo, look look see see. But :slapshead: :faint: too.

Actually I never really understood the t-score & I still dun despite going through PSLE 2012 & 2013.
To me, just have to work on whichever weakness they have & try their best. Whatever the formula is, it applies to every single student. Since I won't have the exact value/info of the different component, no point stressing over the unknown. Target is to work hard & do well in all subjects right?? 😉
Try their best & the rest gotta leave to fate, cannot change anything.

I agreed with BeContented, although knowing how the scores work would be a plus but does not mean would get better psle results.

P6 students & parents, continue to work harder, jiao-you!

              Maths tutor mr lim,

I have made my point clearly ie. You should post responsibly and explain your posts clearly for the benefit of everyone esp when questioned.

I do not wish to hog the running pages by engaging you on discussions which are neither constructive or informational.

This is a very important thread on ksp.

Agree with you and starlight wholeheartedly because we've been there before and we understand the anxiety that parents on this thread is feeling now, don't we?

agree 100%...went through psle 2012...still don't know how calculation is done...importantly, just stretch that extra mile so as not to have any regrets...then answerable to ourselves and also the kids...whatever result, we have worked hard together.

                    What's 300? :?

                    top secret
                    bb_ mom:
My DD's FT also told us to use this factor as a gauge to calculate t-score!

Wow!! I am so curious ? :yikes:
Btw, do you teach Maths by da Vinci code ? 😂[/quote]What top secret? 300 is believed to be the maximum marks for psle, right? Moe have not confirm this, right?

So a non scientific way of estimating psle score in the absence of conhort scoring in order to derive t score is to give a weightage of 75% to each subject and multiply it by 4 subjects assuming a max achievable score of 300 points

                      Hi parents of PSLE 2014,

i understand your stress, pressure and anxiety especially if this is the first time you have a child taking it. build up the momentum towards sep…too fast and you will be burnt out…6 months is neither short nor long. the tough stage will be from june onwards. all the best:)

                        Hi all

Can check…how do you plan for revision from now (1 week holiday) to actual day?
when school starts, how to revise when there is homework everyday?

What is your typical timetable? Thanks
