Sigh…there is no other distraction other than TV when we were away for work. We already told him not to switch on the TV. He told us he din watch TV prog but also din do his homework, juz walk ard the house and day dream. Just refused to do…:<
Last yr, we brought him to diff Sec Schools open house, he saw for himself the different school settings, ECA etc…We told him to aim for his dream school…he said ok…but he is not doing anything to help him to secure a place…
We are at lost how to deal with him… -

Yes i can understand the part about not ‘automatic’ enough…
My DD knows where she wants to go but somehow she can get easily distracted especially ipads and hp. What i did was I told her how much time u spent on homework/assessment/revision on weekdays, U get to play 2/3 of the time on sat & sunday. So on weekdays, NO Ipads and i confiscated her hp upon her reaching home and only give to her after she 9pm. She slept at 10pm daily.
I set a time-table for her to specifically stated what subjects and which book to do because i find that if u don’t do it that way, she will always choose to do her most strong subjects and leave the weakest subject (chinese) to the last or not even touching it at all.
My DS is in Primary 2 but he is in this routine as well but of course more relax than his sister. -
Mine also very relaxed. Still no sense of urgency. Bad time management.
