He asked for Panadol and massage. I wished he didn't think of planning such an activity because the men in his dept are in their 40s and won't want to get themselves hurt.
They should go easy on themselves.. Can organize ball games or buffet session.. Or KTV.. -
Will tell him to organize bowling next year…at least it is an activity which will interest those who have not played before.
Just told him nicely not to get himself injured because he may not feel it now. -

Keke, I'm with you on this.
At our age, don't play play, better to avoid activities that fall eaily. Unless can skate well in first place then use this opportunity to impress other colleagues, otherwise don't even bother to try 献丑不如藏拙. I would forbid my dh to skate. -

I'm ok with us/him trying something new. My dad learnt to blade together with us when we were in our teens. He refreshed his skills again when dd1 learnt to blade. We learnt how to fall properly first. Falling properly is not only a little pretty but safer and it'll help prevent both young and old bones from unwanted injury. He read abt it, he watched coaches and other families play, he bought a pair himself too. He had all paddings on and wore thicker pants.
I suppose for first time sport activity going under an informed instructor is fine when one is older? My dad still blades when we have beach outings. Hubs can skate, blade, skoot, skate and stunt effortlessly. He's the one always poking fun at me. :pokeeye: I'm the one with the swollen bumsies.
