Just being curious, SAHMs - do you shop frequently for Me Items such as Clothing/shoes/bags/cosmetics etc?

Hmm, perhaps not frequently but regularly once the kids reach a certain age.

No. Not after the second one was born. I really do not have the time nor the peace of mind to do so.

I shop twice or three times a year. In bulk. Go to my regular haunts.

Perhaps as ammonite mentioned, once the kiddos reach a certain age, that will change. πŸ˜„

Once in a while if i step into a clothing shop for a few minutes while running errands and see something I like, I will quickly try it and if it fits nicely, will purchase it.

Ah don’t worry it was the same for me except I didn’t even shop in bulk. Sil gave me lots of clothes that she couldn’t wear anymore. So you can say I was wearing her teen clothes for a while, lol!

I hate the crowd, I hate the pesky sales assistants who follow you everywhere, I hate fitting rooms without mirrors in them, I hate to queue to pay.

So online shopping is ideal for me. πŸ˜‰

Gotta run! White hair poking out so need to go color it already. Another person at office commented on it yesterday  .

              I hate the crowds too!

Sales assistants, ok lah ... Will tell them nicely no need their help and they will disappear.

I usually designate a day or two and leave early in the morning for a leisurely breakfast, then once the shops start opening, I will make my way there.

Some of the older ladies who have worked in the department stores for years, recognize me and most times allow me to bring in more than 4 changes of clothes πŸ•Ί

My only complaint about cosmetics is I never been able to finish it. Used for ages till I have to tell myself not to be cheapskate and thrash it

I am always so afraid that clothes and shoes won't fit right if I buy sight unseen. Otherwise I would love to shop online too. I buy groceries and books online because those don't need fitting!

Me too! I keep it saying I'll use it one day. Except one day never comes and then it's way old. Out to the trash. So now, I rein myself in a lot except for lippies and nail polish. A girl can't have enough of those. πŸ˜„ Maybe, I'll go look for plum lipstick later. Since I'm already in town.
