if you liked the bundled Wii Sport, then you should purchase Wii Sport Resort. Similar, but with additional sports like archery, sky diving, etc plus support wii motion plus.

            My other favourites are

            - Mario Kart Wii
            - Cooking Mama

              Nice!

I was looking at those myself. :celebrate:

On top of those, i oso like the Band Hero and Guitar Hero.
The kiddies will love the cooking game for sure. 😄 As for
the Mario Kart... what features in that game? And can
              explain what's Wii motion plus?

this is a Mario Kart Wii gameplay video

                http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFQ94vVE_oc

basically race against each other on Kart or motorbike, and throwing things like banana, bombs at each other.

                  extracted from wiki.

The Wii MotionPlus is an expansion device for the Wii Remote video game controller for the Wii that allows it to more accurately capture complex motion. According to Nintendo, the sensor in the device supplements the accelerometer and Sensor Bar capabilities of the Wii Remote to enable actions to be rendered identically on the screen in real time

The device incorporates a triple-axis \"tuning fork\" angular rate sensor, which can determine rotational motion . The information captured by the angular rate sensor can then be used to distinguish true linear motion from the accelerometer readings. This allows for the capture of more complex movements than possible with the Wii Remote alone

                    New Super Mario Wii

                    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uYi-uWOa0U&feature=related

looks cute and fun; but limited use of the wii motion sense.

[Editor's note: Topic selected & edited for http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/wii-games-suitable-young-children.]

Recently launched Wii Games Suitable for young children (and the child in us).

                      1. New Super Mario Bros. Wii - 15Nov09

Finally, a simultaneous multiplayer Super Mario Bros.™ game. Now players can navigate the side-scrolling worlds alone as before or invite up to three others to join them at the same time on the same level at any point in the game for competitive and cooperative multiplayer fun. Players can pick each other up to save them from danger or toss them into it.
                      [list]

                    • Mario™, Luigi™ and two Toads are all playable characters, while many others from the Mushroom Kingdom make appearances throughout the game. Players can even ride different Yoshi characters and use their tongues to swallow enemies, items and even balls of fire.

In some areas, players use the motion abilities of the Wii Remote™ controller. The first player to reach a seesaw might make it tilt to help his or her character reach a higher platform – or might maike it tilt incorrectly just to mess with other players.

New items include the propeller suit, which will shoot players high into the sky with just a shake of the Wii Remote, and Mario’s new ability to transform into Penguin Mario.

At the end of each stage during the coin battle multiplayer mode, players are ranked based on the number of coins they have collected.

Enjoy playing as your favorite loveable, but mischievous, singing groups as either The Chipmunks (Alvin, Simon, Theodore) or The Chipettes (Brittany, Jeannette, Eleanor), or a duet by both the bands, each with their own distinct personalities. Prove you have rhythm and timing in the main game and in 3 micro-games utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
                      [list]
