Hi, my child said during dismissal time when they are all waiting for school bus to go home, there would always be an uncle standing near the toilet at the canteen giving out sweets to the students who are going to the toilet. I’m just curious who this uncle is and why is he giving out sweets outside the toilet area?

Hi, per the next wk english art class at 2pm, usually the students will be released b/w 1.30pm-1.45pm.

If happen that my girl's class is the last 1 to be released, then she will have about 10mins break to eat her snacks before going to the 2pm class ? Because, is stated to assemble by 1.55pm.

Dear Gummi Bear,

Students who are down for the EL & Art Enrichment will be released at 1.30 pm and instructed to go to the canteen for their lunch.

Dear Frozen Bear,

Based on your feedback, we’ve investigated the matter and found nothing amiss. The toilets at the canteen are locked and not in use by students. We’ve also checked with our security guards and other personnel on their observations made during dismissal. No such occurrences have been sighted.

For International Friendship Day tomorrow, West Springers are encouraged to wear their traditional costumes. Otherwise, it'll be usual school t-shirt & shorts. The black school shoes/black shoes to be worn to school tomorrow.

We also look forward to seeing parents who are available in the school hall tomorrow. Parents are welcome to join us only from 12.50pm onwards. See ya! :grphug: :rahrah:

May i know whether students are allowed to go library during lunch time to borrow books? Understand some took school bus back after dismissal, it is impossible for them to visit the library then.

Dear Gummi Bear,

The canteen will remain open till 2 pm when there're enrichment prog / remediation on. Students will take their lunch in the canteen. As part of school security and safety, parents won't be allowed to bring lunch into the school in the afternoon as the canteen has food sold there for concerned students to consume.

Should parents still wish to bring lunch for their children, they need to instruct their children to meet the parent at the guard post to collect the food.
