      MMM:

We view going to casino as an entertainment. Eg. Our willingness to lose is eg. $200, after this is lost, we will just move on and take it as a entertainment fee.
My mother and I think exactly the same too.

      小赌怡情
      嗜赌伤身

Even when my mother was fortunate enough to win big at the slot machine, I pulled her away and stopped her from playing more. If we are greedy, the money won could easily be lost back to the machines.

Yes. I realised that sometimes to \"pass time\" we will continue to play even though we've won. In doing so, we end up contributing back to the casino's earnings at the end of the day.

We went up to Genting in December. After playing for like a day and there is no win and loss, I personally think it's actually good enough. Some excitements along the way when you hit those free games and see your winnings go up. That is enough for me to be entertained.

Yes I also think it is very boring at Genting or the cruise ship if we don't play 😉 But I just hate the thought of losing all my winnings back to the slot machines (happened before) So I tell myself and my mother that we must control 😉

The danger comes when one who thinks can win the casino not the one who thinks will lose.

My mother enjoys playing the slot machines and I have brought her to the casinos at Genting and Superstar Virgo once every year. I have also brought her to the Macau Venetian Resort, the casino is beautiful and huge, I don't think the RWS casino can be better than that. The RWS entry fee of $100 is about the same as spending 1 to 2 nights at Genting, and cheaper than the cruise and Macau, so I think Singaporeans who likes to gamble will still like to go to RWS.

Anyway I think what is most important is how much the casino is willing to let people win at the slot machines 😉 It was very difficult to win big at the Macau Venetian Resort so it was quite empty. I think it is easier to win at Genting, especially because they have 1 cent machines, so their casinos are always packed.

BTW, at the Genting and cruise ship casinos, I see many aunties age 50 and above spending many hours at the slot machines. I have been to the Las Vegas casinos before, also saw many American aunties spending a lot of time at the slot machines.
Some clubs here have license to operate slot machines.

Yes. SAFRA and NTUC club. Moreover, the income from the slot machines is used to subsidise other facilities in the clubhouse.
