          MMM:
My son was in Miss Lim's class last year and after 1 experience of being punished as he forgot to bring his color pencils, he has learnt his lessons  Seeing his friends get punished for certain behaviours also made him \"aspire\" to behave well  Personally, I think it's good as it instills discipline though some parents might feel that it's old thinking/ teaching and how can they torture my kids

The school has recently introduced a new initiative called 'My Reflections'. It has columns for the child to fill something like 'What did I do wrong'; 'Who did I affect'; 'How did I affect them'; etc. 😉

I know because my P3 girl recently got one that she needed to fill in for forgetting to bring her textbooks a few times. And parents need to sign. I thot it was a good initiative (maybe not be a new one but I only just see it this year). We had a good laugh at it and now she is quite diligent in packing her bag. 😄

I agree it's a good initiative though I think the P1s don't have this. They have just the 好习惯 booklet.

Actually... are they are same booklet? My P2 and P3 have the same booklet. My P2 had it filled up the 1st week and stopped after that. He is carrying it to school on a daily basis....

I also have a P1 girl in MBS. She told me those who didn't complete or didn't get parent's signature after week were asked to stand up in class! And when I asked her if she stood before, she said \"Of course! 2 times\"

Oh, but the booklet that my P1 has just lists some good habits such as rinsing one’s mouth after eating, being courteous, raising one’s hands before speaking in class. Ds has been diligently filling that in almost daily, and getting me to sign weekly. I didn’t know kids were punished for not filling it up

Yah… my P2 didn’t fill up too. It stopped at page 1 and I didn’t hear of any punishment. During meet the teachers session, the CL HOD also mentioned about this book. They are encourage to do it but I don’t think they should be any penalty for not doing. It doesn’t make sense.
