Finally, 4 grueling days at SNAG is OVER! Our kids did a great job but I must say I am rather impressed with the Myanmese swim team.

I’m looking for swimming  instructor for my two 7 yr old kids. Preferably with experience in teaching kids and location must cck swimming pool at the cck sport complex for convenience. Lesson must be during weekday morning (except Wednesday morning) as my kids need to go to school in the aftn.

Btw, my kids already know how to swim breaststroke and can swim a few laps without swimming aids. I need to have an instructor that can teach my kids (twins) survival skill sets , other swimming techniques and conduct certification test.

Yes it's over, now next is the National Primary School in April 24,25th
Those selected at SNAG were invited to join the National Stroke Camp over the weekend at the Sports School..it's over too.
                  All back to training today

Swimironkids, do you know the rationale behind the decision to stop selecting the top 10 & 11 yr olds for training under Ian Turner? Seems rather awkward to shift the cut off age to 12 yr old, the PSLE year when a typical Singaporean kid's focus is most likely to be v split...

2004. They took in those born in 2003 last year (ie 10 yr olds) for JNDS but shifted the cut off age to those born in 2002 (12 yo) this year. So across the board, the younger kids never got a chance, whether or not they came in top in their strokes (fly or breast) or in terms of FINA points. Why was the cut off age shifted?
