Sometimes, she is too smart for her own good. Luckily, sashimi and I are still ahead of her but I do wonder what kinds of rubbish DD1 will fill DD2’s head with in the years to come. Sigh…

U wont be able to image wat all they will talk/do in yrs to come as nowdays kids really really smart 😛

The problem is that DD1 is almost 8 years older than DD2 who will no doubt look up to her Jie-jie. I just hope Jie-jie will not exploit it.

Luckily 8 yrs then cannot follow cause the elder one will always be too much ahead.... but the real shocker will be when ur DD2 is 4-5 yrs old hehehhe

But what if elder one decides to \"impart nonsense\" to the younger one as fact, and the younger one believes it since she adores her Jie'jie? That's what I'm afraid of. (Too bad I didn't exploit this privilege with my sis who's 6 years my junior. 😉 )

            :!: why shock?
            Mine is 5yrs apart. DD1-7yo, DS2-2yo.
DS likes to bully DD. 😞

              most terror twos are …

they are more cranky since they could not express themselves well enough to be understood. And they know they can get their way by throwing tantrum.

DD2 and I were doing some assessments couple of days ago.

We came upon this sentence in her cloze passage... and she
sorta struggled with it... much to my frustration. :frustrated:

\"I have received a good pen from my brothers and sisters.
My uncles and aunts have presented me _______ storybooks,
socks and shoes, chocolates, cakes and stationery items.\"

So, I was like trying all sorts of ways to explain to her so that
she could understand/get it, but it seemed futile cos in one
of my \"trying\" to explain, here's what happened...

Just like when you are receiving a trophy during your sports day
in Kindergarten, the Principal presented you with something rite..
(obvious clue)... so in this sentence, the same applies.

He was given story books and etc etc for his birthday. Hence,
he was presented........ (me pausing for the longest time....)
Come on... you know this! What do you say/use when something
                is presented to you...?

                \"Errr... hmm... i know... say Thank You.\"

                :frustrated: Aaaarrggh! :frustrated:

Eventually, i gave her 4 choice words and she got it right. To which
she said, \"Hey, you actually gave me the clue just now when you
were explaining it to me, right Mummy? I remember now..\" :stupid:

I realised i led her to say that from how i phrased my so called
\"explanation\"... so it's kinda my fault too.

                  Agree. Terror twos.
Will cry very loud when saying no to his request. 😐

                    buds, ur DD2 is cute.
Yes, we have to say \"Thank you\" when we receive something. 😉

DD2 and I were doing some assessments couple of days ago.
on the note on assessments, ds1 did one about Uncle A sweeping leaves into Uncle B's yard and Uncle B burns the leaves into fertilizers for his veg patch and then gave some of his harvest to Uncle A causing Uncle A's face to turn red (in embarassement). When the question asked about what Uncle A will do in the future, ds1's answer is
                        \"Uncle A will give Uncle B more leaves\". 😐

I said answer is \"Uncle A is so embarassed that he will not sweep leaves into Uncle B's yard again\", ds1 argued that question is asking for \"what Uncle A WILL DO in the future\".
