Dino:
My SIL (Pri Sch Maths Teacher) recommended this Maths assessment book - Process Skills In Problem Solving - by FAN-Math.
Anything good for chinese and english as well also??? TksDearkids:
Mummies,
Any GOOD Maths enrichment to recommend ? Thanks
My DS1 is pretty weak in his maths too. After spending 3 days revising with him prior the test, he seemed to have better understanding on the different concepts taught in the book. Book is available at Popular.
As for Chinese, we have weekly private tuition for 1.5 hours. Expose your child with more words recognition. We try to do composition reading at home on a daily basis. -

Ur kids very lucky.... mine has to wake up by 535 to get ready for school bus which comes at ard 610 to 615....
Hi Dino,
Hi
May I ask normally what time your kids go to bed?
That's really early! Where do you stay? -
There will be MTL Listening Test & International Friendship Day Celebration tomorrow.
-
Btw, have you all started preparing them for the MTL poetry recitation?

phtthp:
I realized my DS1 has plenty of TV time too …. mmh….
from your time table -patlsy79:
my timetable as this :
3-4pm - watching tv
4pm onward - homeworks/practise spellings
after done, she can watch tv until i rch home to bathe her.
630pm - dinner
7pm-8pm - learn spellings and either me or the daddy will go through/revise with her.
8-815pm - tv/ipad/story books
815pm - washing and ready for bed
quite a lot of time spent on letting your child watch TV.
instead of let child watch TV -
ask her to read storybook (both English + Chinese)
when you reach home at night:-
ask her to narrate the story plot, what happen, who are the main character, etc, morale of lesson learnt.
This will help her in Composition later on
We usually reach home by 2pm.
2pm to 3pm - Lunch + TV
3pm - Shower
3:15pm to 3:45pm - Subject 1 revision
3:45pm to 4:15pm - Subject 2 revision
4:15pm to 5:30pm - Homework (if any) … I will be out to fetch DS2 from CC
5:30pm to 6pm - Piano
6pm to 8pm - Rest, TV, Play + Dinner
8pm to 8:45pm- FUN Learning (on any topics he is interested)
8:45pm - Wash-up
9pm - Bedtime -
Opps! My boy didn't tell me abt the MTL Listening Test...
Anyone letting your child wear ethnic costume tomorrow?
