Typical T-score is 255. Admission T-scores can't be exactly predicted.
Yes, you can DSA in with musical talent. However, SOTA might be a better bet. -

No sweat indeed. No stress also. Is this common or is it just my DS? He's spending more time on IOP than revising for MYE :?
We are relatively new to ACsian way of living but we really like it here. My ds first mid year exams are approaching but no sweat

It seems IOP is a big thing. Luckily it went well.

Hi. Joined KSP yesterday. As green as can be.
Son in P6 and our choice of secondary school is ACS(I). Listened to Mr Hodge's address at their open house this year, in which he said something quite puzzling. He firmly declared that COP for IP has been and will be 253. Was he mistaken? Isn't COP derived as the lowest T-score of the S1 posting students admitted? He also said that total IP places for S1 posting is 80. How can both the COP and the no. of places be fixed at the same time?
Can anyone else who heard the same address confirm that I wasn't hard of hearing and that I heard correctly? And if so, can someone shed some light on the puzzle? :?
Thanks so much. -

PSLE scores are normed to the population, so it's possible to fix the COP for the school's automatic intake purposes. The number of places can be fixed because ACS(I) ALWAYS gets more than 80 IP applications, so he can easily choose.Hi. Joined KSP yesterday. As green as can be.

That would mean he will not likely be taking in anyone with a T-score under 253. Sometimes, when educators talk, they don't always differentiate between internal cut-offs and the market-based cut-off point.
