The mum of the kid who bullied your boy, was she defensive? I am so sorry to hear that your boy was bullied and has no friends, must be heartbreaking for you. Oh man! I don’t know if I can deal with such situation when is my boy’s turn. As of now, when I see my friends’ kids ignoring my boy, I already feel very sad and I teared whenever I talked about that.

        Hi Double E,

Thanks for your reply. O, I wanted to start my son on neurofeedback but he is 2.5 years old now, not sure can anot. I will go look c look c when I bring him for OT next time.

I saw the tkd class but it is always in darkness as my son’s OT lessons are all early morning. Glad to hear they accept girls but not sure if my daughter is keen to join with her brother. She is into the fairy-princess route if you know what I mean. She joins her ballet class simply because she wants to wear the tutu skirt. Thanks for sharing.

          Hi Balachanbabe,

Sorry to hear about the school bus bully incident. My best friend’s NT son was also a victim. He was spit upon by a Pri 4 schoolmate while being on the bus. He told my friend and she became very agitated too. But being NT, the 2nd time it happened again, he spit back at the bully. Our poor darlings may not know how to retaliate though. Haiz… Glad you kicked up a big fuss and get a proper apology. Salute!

            Hi balachanbabe,

Not sure where you live but there is this tuition centre for special needs children at fusionpolis (buona vista) called Cognitive Learning Centre. They have Chinese tuition taught by special needs teacher.

So the tkd sch next to potc is good? But it’s too far. Already I struggle to having to go that area three times a week. Haha

Mostly I wait for the child to ask for lessons then we do it. For OT and SLT we just make him go. But he loves OT and wishes he can do it everyday. Haha. The therapist wants him in a group class soon we’ll see how that goes.

He also experienced bullying but he’s trying to handle it. Cos he’s who he is, it’s quite funny.

One day he said with frustration and tears in his eyes, "they (aed, therapists) tell me to do this this this this this (in order) when there’s a bully. I did. But the bully never follow the order!"

              Hahaha.

And he says he has no frens. So my hb went on one of the sch trips as a volunteer and he told me the kids are fond of my child. But somehow my child doesn’t recognize it!

So thats the other thing to work on.

As for spelling and ting xie. First time was okay since ting xie is just hanyu pinying. But now he has decided he’ll just fail and do corrections since he doesn’t see why he has to learn in those (prescribed) words.

I just started my princess on tkd. She's also more keen on ballet but I find it's a waste of time. 😛 she is giving some good punches now. Lol.

Is your kid with them? How do you rate their teaching & teachers?

My girl will be starting her ballet class too! I registered her in a community centre. So she will be a kickass princess and protect her brother. Haha!

                      Hi bb_mom,

No, this centre only accepts K1 special needs children onwards, my boy is 2.5 years old only. I kept the contact as I stay in the West and was surprised to find a tuition centre specially for our darlings. Please go and check it out yourself and if free, do update us about your feeling for the place!

                        Hi Double E,

Yah, kickass princess wearing fairy wings and tutu skirt and protecting her younger brother. But ehh, actually my daughter seems to be the biggest bully to her brother leh. My son’s classmates are all very nice to him, every morning rushed to the door and call his name to come in.
