Hi, my girl is going primary 1 next year. I am considering this school but would like to know more details first...my girl is not exactly a fast learner...so I am wondering if the standard of this school is a bit too high for her or something like that...


Of coz, I would like for her to study in a christian school but is it \"messy\" among the the students? Really hope to get some info from other mummies~~~


P.S: I studied in a christian secondary school and it's a bit messy within the school...

What do u mean by messy? :?
The standard has gone up over the years. Kcpps p5 & 6 math papers rank among the more difficult papers I've come across. At lower primary, they are learning stuff ahead of them as compared to several years ago. But I feel every school seems to be doing that too.

Sorry if the word I am using is inappropriate or wrong…its just tat most people will have a thinking tat Christian school maybe sort of better than a non religion school…and tat was one of the factors considered by most parents…sorry if I made anything offensive…I don’t mean it.

Does this school provides supplementary lessons to help those weaker students? Or is it like some schools tat expect the parents to hire tuition for their own children?

oh nothing to be sorry about. just wanted to clarify what messy meant.
actually in singapore, there is nothing very religious about all the missions schools. Yes there are chapel sessions, but the spiritual lessons learnt are all very watered down. Largely becomes moral values lessons applicable to everyone.

Weaker students are identified and given more help with remedial classes. P5-P6 will have supp classes twice a week.

I hope to register my son this year to KCPPS and would just like to know whether the school would share the statistics on how many children have registered under a particular phase during the actual registration day?

Would KCPPS inform us during registration day if balloting is already required for that phase I am registering in?

it depends on which teachers they get. it's not the same across all the classes.

they are supposed to be back by 2015 but there seem to be some delay in the upgrading works.
it's at bishan st 13, just beside kcp sec sch. actually the school is supposed to go single session when they move back, but i've heard some other plans. but nothing has been officially announced yet.
