ala carte. We usually go there on Sat abt 6pm. Go early, after 7pm usually got to queue (weekend crowd).
Thanks .. will try soon. I visit that food court quite often, but had never tried the mini-hotpot somehow.

Our family of 4 just had a steamboat dinner at Jpot@VivoCity yesterday. Not bad, two pots of soup - one laksa, the other on is their own JPot superior soup. We had 4 bowls of rice with pork, chicken, yong tao foo stuff, enoki mushroom, shitake mushroom, drinks etc… β€” the total cost was about $70.

Have you tried The Magic of Chong Qing Hot Pot at Tanglin Shopping Centre? 4th floor. Very spicy mala soupt in a yingyang pot (other soup is chicken, I think). Good food quality. It’s an a la carte style buffet for around $35 a pop, I think. So not cheap. Have to book otherwise very long queue. This one very good!!

This is my favourite too... Love the mala!! .. been having it for years.. alot of varieties.. and v v good quality.. if I have budget constraints.. I will head to the one in Golden Mile.. the old hainanese restaurant.. or to Novena.. the La-Mei-Zi.. their tomyam version is good.

I remember Coca wasn't so good, and amount also quite little? Haven't been there in yonks. Is it buffet style also? I guess I like spicy food, like MrsBongz!
