Maid levy concession when child reaches 12 or 13 birthday?

When does the maid levy concession ends?


My youngest is born Aug 2002. Just would like to find out... Does it mean I pay full levy of $265 from Aug or Sep 2015 or Aug or Sep 2016?

An FDW employer will qualify for the FDW levy concession if he/she:
a) has a young child or grandchild (Singapore Citizen) below 12 years old; or

Your child turns 12 in Aug 2014. He thus ceases to be BELOW 12 years old on his 12th birthday, which is in Aug 2014.

Why don’t MOM give it the same as childcare leave? As at the child 12 yrs old… the year the child turns 13 then change?

My maid is due for medical and I didnot send her cos she was suppose to go back but now shes not. I cant find her medical letter frm MOM. Can anyone advise whether I should wait for the reminder or call MOM. thanks
