Hi all, my dd2 is in 2B. She's in Chinese Dance. I've got an older boy in P4. Any one here has older kid in FMSP?relaxedmom:
Thanks so much for sharing the key points from the MTP session, Keroppi! Really appreciate that. My DD is in 2F. What about yours?
2D. Don't mention it. We're here to support each other. :celebrate: -
Hi,
I am new to this forum. We stay within 1-2km from FMPS and my hubby is ex-fairsians from FMSS only not FMPS. My DD is K1 next year and we plan to send her to FMPS. If my hubby join their alumni, any idea will my child fall under phase 2A1?
Or anyone can advise us better option to enter this school? -
I think that alumni of secondary school does not qualify for any advantage in entering the primary school. Please do check and confirm, this is what I last know of.

Just got an reply email from FMPS..yah..you are right loh...
Btw want to ask all of you here..anyone got rejected after submitting pv to this school? And if volunteer at FMPS and we stay within 2km..do we stand 100% chance to get into P1 registration? -
100% chance is impossible to answer. It all depends on the number of students competing in that phase. If let’s say, there’s nobody but only you alone in that phase, and there’s still a vacancy, you will get 100% chance. But let’s say there’s a lot students competing in that phase together with you, then your chances will be lower.
So it depends on the number of students in that phase and the number of vacancies left. -
It’s actually getting increasingly popular under phase 2B.
Last year, 57 out of 59 places were taken up at phase 2B.
it helps to stay nearer as well. i would say, very good chance for those living 1kim-2km radius -
ooptimizer, thanks for explaining…
curiousl-ks, I really hope we are accepted to PV as we really like this well rounded school… -
I have to admit it's a very well rounded school.
Wish you all the best!!!!
