So Blessed, Happy that you have made early target and decision, we didn’t try DSA route because we were undecided and did not have sports or CCA niche advantage. A few of my ds classmates DSA via sports, are now adjusted as well as the rest in the class. All is well, it is even difficult to push us for anything ‘bad’ to tell. Wish you best of luck.

Thanks again spicyblackpepper. Glad that your DS got in via the PSLE route, a route which has some very major advantages.

I like the feel at acsi too. i have kids in both acsi and XX :censored: . The culture is so different. Just by reading the fb confession page alone, you can feel the kids are so different.Yay, then I'm back.
I've actually done a brief pros-and-cons comparison of RI, NUSHS and ACS(I). ACS(I) wins hands-down! Best part is, my son agrees. And this entire thread from page 1 gives me the feel-good confidence that we've made the right choice.
Now, we can only pray for God's grace and favour on my son's DSA IP application and PSLE performance.
If successful, then I lagi at home in this thread.
But then each of my kid fits well into their school because they are so different in personality. -

But even if both your kids are similar in personality, I think each would still fit well in his respective school given some time, because most kids at their age are very adaptable. -
My ds definitely needs to immerse into ACSI type of culture to become a better person.

*grin* that's why people express relief once they've got into ACS(I) and can thus leave the 'PSLE baggage' behind, because http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/173031. -

Yup, the best school years are the secondary ones, esp. in ACS(I).SoBlessed:

But, actually, what I meant in my previous post was, PSLE route as opposed to DSA route. -
For some parents, DSA is another cum PSLE baggage. Having been thro the process I felt weight of additional DSA baggage. Not complaining.

Read from earlier discussion that the backgate access to the bus stops along AYE opens from 6am to 8 am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm daily from Mon to Fri. Can anyone currently using this gate confirm that the opening is reliable ? Thanks in advance.
