Hi MMM, jsmum,
Thanks for your encouragement and advice. I was lucky that her K2 teacher prepared her very well and hence she’s managing ok so far. Hope for the best. -
MMM:
the school homeworks are mainly sin peng you, learning ting sie and some others ...vlim:
my dd spend most of time doing school chinese homework
Actually, what kind of CL homework is she given by school?
As I have a p5 kid so I can't 'give all my time' coaching her...so emmm..and of course she need computer time and tv time.... -
vlim,
in case u are still considering to start your p2 on enopi, my dd takes an avg of 45mins to an hr (if she just learnt the concept) to do a basic math booklet. the heuristic one is completed in a much faster time as she finds that easier.
I am also having problems managing her time as she needs to practise on her music and gym.

My 2 kids (P3 and P2) are in the band. If I don't remember wrongly, it last 3 hours each day. Also, for my P3, starting from Aug, they will need to have band twice a week. A weekday and saturday (for combined practise). Usually even when the other CCA are suspended due to CCAs, etc... band will continue. My P2 just joined this year and it's 3 hours for him. 9-12pm. It's good to join before P3 otherwise the child will need to go for audition from P3 onwards. It's also important to hold a long term view with band eg. continue till P6.
MBS band I heard has a great reputation from my niece who is very much into school band as well. So they win alot of awards,etc....
