Hi HCI students and parents, any one from bedok reservoir area? iโ€™d like to check what are the transport options going to school in the morning? Any school bus service or car pooling arrangement? what time do you usually leave for school?

Thought the student led forum was interesting. Such an innovative idea to let the students lead their own review process and hone their presentation skills at the same time. I am glad I attended.

Did the parents get to talk to the teachers during the forum. So there is no more ptm for all levels in hci?

Yes, but not as much as previous years.

The parents get to talk to the teachers but not much time left after the presentation. Only 30 mins is allocated for each student.

30 mins is quite a lot, isnt it. Normal ptm is like 5 mins per teacher. ๐Ÿ™‚

5 mins is for primary school.

30 mins is not much if youโ€™ve seen how the students have to present their stuff with questions posed by the teachers. Certain students even have the consortium director to sit in.

I agree with travelmummy about the SLF, so glad i attended and was able to see my son presenting his thoughts on his journey so far in HCI and what he hopes to achieve in school. Heโ€™s developed quite a bit of his public speaking skills, and that makes me happy.

The SLF was a tripartite discussion between parents, teachers and the student, so it isnโ€™t really like pri school PTM where the student is absent.
