        Hi again

He's not really jealous (I think). Rather it seems like we are giving him pressure coz everytime we will be reminding him not to shout or scream as sis is sleeping. Probably a lot of no no for him. I try to cut down on that. Other than that he's fine.

Thanks for all the well wishes! :thankyou:

            KopiYing,

Get your DS involved in caring for his dear sis by letting him help get ready her stuff for bath or keep an eye on her while she's sleeping etc. Praise him for doing a good job. He'll be proud to be given such responsibilities and love being the elder brother. This will last a lifetime and leave no room for jealousy. 😉

I’m trying at the moment but guess he’s still young (2 years old) to understand fully. He did help me to pick up booties/mittens etc. Taking things slowly.

The most headache one is his screaming & crying, wabiang!

KopiYing, once you are able to do so, do register your baby as a national library member. Applicants under the age of 7 get free membership.

With this membership, approach the service counter at any community or regional branch to request for a free Pre-Birth Kit for your baby within one year of her birth. I happened to see it on display when I visited the Jurong Regional Library yesterday and redeemed mine on the spot. It comes with a height chart, hardcover journal, CD among other things.

P.S. Thanks for the tip on Huggies. 🙂

                      lovekidsverymuch:
So cute my DS is over 1 yr now 😞

I hope I saw correctly that it is within 1 year of birth. LKVM, maybe you can verify with the staff? I tried searching online at the NLB website but couldn't find any info on the kit.

8 years ago when I registered my DD1 at NLB, they gave me a kit but it was a simpler and smaller one, filled with booklets on reading tips and recommended books.

By the way, does anyone here know if the Pampers Baby Club is still around? I joined it when my DD1 was born 8 years ago but I can't find it online anymore. TIA. 🙂
