Thought that it would be a good idea to set up a thread for parents whose kids are in or are interested in Poly/ Lasalle/ NAFA education. We can share ideas, views and experiences here.

There's really too many Poly courses to list. It also depends on the cut-off point and minimum requirements expected for the respective uni course. For example, you cd have a student who graduated with a Diploma in Gerontological Mgt Studies (from TP) and does well enough to meet the minimum criteria to further studies in Biz Sch or FASS or Science... -
Just to clarify, it's SUTD = Singapore University of Technology and Design
There's also another local uni, SIT = Singapore Institute of Technology
(this is a collaboration of overseas partner universities with the 5 local polys)
Here's the link to SIT, http://www.singaporetech.edu.sg/ -
Anyone has any idea of the above course? Which poly is better? What is the prospect?
-
I would personally advise against tourism. Prospect doesn’t look too bright as compared to courses like engineering/science and finance.
-
would recommend to do a general business diploma instead.
it is very easy for business diploma grads to go into tourism anyway.
leaves you with more job options. -
:thankyou:

How to qualify for a diploma in music from NAFA? Does anyone know?

Do u mean enter NAFA's 3-year diploma program? If that's what you are referring to, then the prospective student has to go for an audition/admission test(s) to be selected for the prog.

By the way, if anyone is interested to enroll in Graphic Design and Fashion Degree Programme, conferred by the University of the West of England, Bristol, please pm me.
I have some extra information booklets about the course provided by the company, and will be pleased to guide you in the registration process.
