Hi Andaiz,
Thanks for the explanation. I was actually wondering what level of parental involvement is required.
In any case, since DD was all excited about participating, I signed the form and put it into her bag. But this morning, she asked me why I signed the form, she doesn't want to participate. :stupid:
Anyway, typical of DD. She loves performing but will always have jitters. So told her I leave it up to her. If she wants to take part, just hand in the form. If not, then don't hand in the form. -

My girl brought back the form last week. She also loves performing so already signed the form. Hopefully she will get her chance to be on stage 1 of these days...:)Hi Andaiz,

My girl loved it too! You should see the classmates cheering them on...these gals are even competitive in such \"stage appearance\".

hi all,
My P1 girl brought back the LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramaic Art) exam enrolment form yesterday.
Any of you with experience taking this exam? I would like my girl to take part in this exam. However, the exam will be held during the 1st 2 weeks of the June vacation and the exam schedule will only be known in Term 2. During June vacation we might be going away so not sure if can take part. The exam fee is non-refundable though.....
Can share if its worthwhile taking this exam? If don't take this exam in P1 can still take at the next level?
Thanks

I called up the General office yesterday. Seems to be nothing on tomorrow. Do share if you have heard of something.

There will be 10 sessions of training during school hours. It works out to only a mere $9.50 per session of training. Even if your child can't make it for the exam in June it is still worth it. The paper is not important la!hi all,

my sentiments, exactly Poonie...we'd probably be away first two weeks of June but my fal loves the drama class they've had in P1...and can't wait to try this out. The paper is just an accreditation lah! Most importantly, they expand their horizon.
