What TV do you watch?

Now, I have also watch 11pm show in channel 8 from Taiwan. I cannot believe myself !! :!:
In the past, I enjoyed local produced drama, but these recent years, I couldn't take it anymore, the shows overall quality has dropped. My kids also couldn;t bear to watch but to watch other productions.

Sometime back I also hooked on the same taiwan drama, but gave up midway cos too draggy (very time wasting). My dh commented even after missing a few episodes, you'll still have no problem following the show.

Not much chance to watch TV programmes.


I will follow series like Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Numb3rs, Leverage. But all rented or bought, not on the normal TV programme time.

Now watching Criminal Minds. I like CSI but too many to keep up.

I am a bit strange lah. I dun like to watch shows or TV most of the time, prefer to read. But once in a while I, like these few days, will get bitten by the TV bug and will watch the whole series in 1 or 2 sittings.

We only watch news on the weekdays. Weekends go out so don’t even have time to watch news. We only have more time to watch other shows during holidays like X’mas, New Year and CNY. But sometimes we also go for vacation during holiday. I think my TV is really under utilised. Furthermore I just upgraded to a 40" Full HD LCD.

Has anyone been bitten specifically by the '24' (name of tv series) bug and had a marathon (like 5 or 6 hrs or more in row) trying to watch the entire series because you just can't stand the suspense

Then I think DH overutilised it. He watches T.V. whenever he's home, in fact he'll leave it on all the time and sometimes forget about it. :x I can't stand him when he even watches Taiwanese serials esp the one that's known to run for 5 years. :faint: He even leaves the T.V. on when he sleeps. I'll switch it off for him (yes, he's definitely asleep cos he snores) but he wakes up and :x :whut:

Me: I switch it off cos you were sleeping.
DH: I was not sleeping. I was watching and don't ever switch it off for me.

Sometimes I do watch some HK DVDs during public holiday which I always find it more exciting than local ones.

I know I will sound like some alien. Er… haven’t watched TV for 30 years. But I really don’t have time or the need to do that. So I have a 3 TVs but never on. Don’t even have an antenna or cable. Sua ku right?
