ok, i wonder for those parents who went to the phase 2b or 2c balloting at nyps last year, did anyone remember seeing this rich foreign couple who have appeared in magazines, papers and on tv? i am unsure if i could name them but those in nyps or have read the news might know who i am talking about.

their daughter should be in p1 this year. obviously both are foreigners so phases 2A are out. mum is active in pv and kid from nyk. so must apply thru phase 2b or 2c right? anyone has any idea if they got in thru 2b or 2 c?

I believe Happy (their daughter) got in through 2B.

I recall reading a newspaper article showing Jim Rogers doing PV for NYPS. And since they are PR, they should qualify for Phase 2B.

And I recall reading that his wife is reading as part of PV. Would think that they would have been able to accumulate those hours (SAHM mah).

I spoke to a relative over CNY... she said she \"donated\" $$ n got her gal into priority registration... she didn't get selected for PV... joined some association instead... so rightfully fall under Phase 2B... but she KS abit... approached the P before registration started to make known her presence and \"volunteer\" her services... P ask her to help sell some donation coupons... she took all... $300 worth.... then no need go to Phase 2B liaoo...

some one i knew of also told me a story about a certain donation to get his son into the school of preferred choice.
His son also in Uni now.

Jim's dd already P1 in NYPS this year. Both parents also PV in the school.

I read in few reports that Jim Rogers did PV to put his daughter in NYPS. We drove past NYPS last night when we visited a friend who stayed around there...the new school is impressive

Yes, her daughter is in Nyps p1. They got in via 2B. There was no balloting last year for Phase 2B…
