Hi,hi, can the parent share some experience with geylang methodist primary? specifically on the teacher's attitude, personality, school environment, principal? I saw from the website indicating GMS will be converting to a single session in 2016, do we know if this is on track for completion?
My girl will be registering for primary one in 2016. We're methodist thus hoping our children will be raised in a methodist school.
appreciate all advise... tks.
My boy is a student in gmps. So far, I'm satisfy with his teachers' teaching and the school environment. It is a big family. I'm not a christian but I like the school. I can see that my son also enjoys his school days. He is coping well in both his studies and CCA. From what I know, the school will convert to single session from 2016. Besides doing some upgrading work to the existing building, they will be adding new facilities such as a sports hall, a new block etc. Seems like the school principal is quite confident that the upgrading project will be completed by end 2015. -

dear all, would like to know more about geylang methodist primary...am thinking of sending my girl there: main benefit is that it's located near the mrt... any comments about the school-curriculum/teachers/etc? Thx!
I have a boy studying in gmps. According to my boy's feedback, most of his teachers can be very fierce. However, he still like the school as the lessons are not boring and he likes his friends there. More homework will be given once the child reached P3. The school is currently undergoing upgrading projects as they will be adding new facilities and more classrooms to prepare them to convert to single session from year 2016. My son's classroom has installed aircon so that they not affected by the construction (I think so). There is a meet-the-parents session somewhere in end May for teachers and parents to meet up and talk. So far, I have no complaints about his teachers and the school environment. -
