There is this free tool that is pretty good for practicint multiplication tables and math.

      http://www.freerice.com/index.php?&s=Multiplication%20Table

the added bonus is that each click means rice is being donated to people who need it. Explained to my 9 yr old niece about world hunger and how practising the math can help the people who need food and that seems to be motivating her to practise her multiplication tables.

great idea! i’ve heard of the freerice online project from BBC World Service, but didn’t have the chance or motivation to surf. Now, with the maths P2 paper coming up, great way to get my kid to practice. Thanks for the link!
