I understand that the school took in 20 sets of parent volunteers, so if we include grassroots volunteers, there is a high likelihood of balloting in Phase 2B; and of course, a given for Phase 2C.

Only 20 PVs they took in for this year. That is quite few. I don’t think there wd be that many Grassroots volunteers also especially since PA also tweaked their rules this year. Last year RMPS had 31 registrations in P2B by the way.

Newbies will not have access to bbcode, until they have 10 posts or more. That is why quotes won't work for newbies. We have to put on this restriction due to spammers who use bbcode to create links to malware.

But Chief, TiongBaru_dad has made more than 10 posts already.

ChiefKiasu must be finding my posts not of quality. That's why till now he still have not granted me the bbcode despite me having clocked more than 20 posts. :frustrated:

20. Really? Thats quite small. Maybe the sch already has a rough gauge of phase 1 figure each year and they adjust the pv numbers accordingly? Read somewhere there were 20+ pv last year.


Anyone knows each year how many grassroot r there?

TB_Dad, the garhment just announced new rules for grl, should not affect previous yrs' numbers right? Cos these grassroot leaders have to attend x number of meetings before they get a letter to acknowledge them a position, afterwhich they can start their services. And then they will eventually get the precious letter. The process of grassroot route is just too complicated for a spider to comprehend. :scratchhead: lots of hardwork. Really ssssalute them.

So plus the 20+ PVs, the RM Phase 2B should be around 30+.

Anybody know why the applicants for Ph2b in 2012 higher than usual (around 60+ applications), so there was balloting phase 2B in 2012.

err…i’ve some colls who are foreigners but got the citizenship aft2-3 yrs here then they joinned grassroot…as i spoke to them, some also not very very active kind members. this yr now they are entitled to reg under 2B in famous schs…i as SC, very imbalance cos i myself couldnt even ballot in the 2B last yr due to num of applicants increased unexpectedly… sour grapes lei…paisei my own feeling la.
