hi! Im not allowed here i guess, since im not a parent but actually a student. I thought it will be great to tell you more about the school, for those who are entering the De La Salle soon. Sorry if im not allowed here, maybe im deleting this soon if im not allowed here.
So, im actually one of a student from De La Salle last time, so im a ex-lasallian. (Lasallian is the name for students in De La Salle :D)
I have to say this and this is really cliché but, i really miss being in De La Salle. DLSS is a great school and maybe students in it now might find it tough, and annoying and the number of stay backs (for upper primary, P6 you might have 3 staybacks at least a week). I would say that if you are given a chance of being a prefect, i would say give it a try! You know, experience everything you can!
If you are wondering about CCA, i think DLSS CCA isn't too bad, but if you're sporty (or your child), try basketball
But thou, it's you choice. All CCA's are great.
If there are any questions you would like to ask, just ask away!
The canteen stall vendors are very friendly, literally. Especially one of them, (sorry , can't remember name, but it's the stall with the orange plates), she is really friendly and my friends and I would usually buy food from her.
So don't worry to those that are coming to De La Salle soon, usually you wouldn't like it first, but trust me, when your days of P6 are ending, you will try to cherish it as much as possible. Some teachers are friendly thou.
Again, sorry for not being a parent and actually talking here but those who are coming in, just to let you know , you are lucky to be a lasallian inside De La Salle

Hi, does anyone has information on the percentage of students qualifying for SJI each year?

any p3 mummies here?

Dear parents my son will be in p5D next year. Next year is going to be a very tough beginning and I would like to invite parents whose child is in Dlss p5 to join this network so that we can work together to share the ups and downs and our experiences with each other to help our child overcome the next 2 years of psle drills.

I had just opened a new topic for my son in p5 and here is another network topic that I am inviting parents whose child is going p3 next year in Dlss. This network is to let parents share ideas and problems related to lessons for their p3 children so as to make the year ahed a smoother journey for our kids. Thank you

Anyone with in same level next year. It would be an advantage to have a network so as to keep track of what’s going on in class for our children. Lessons and scube and how we can share different opinions to conclude a better solution for our child’s journey in education.

Please do not create multiple topics for the same school.
