Don’t think the principal can "show off" to the public even they got a top scorer right?

Ain’t all schools not supposed to release the results as instructed by MOE?

        Dino:
I think the previous principal Ms Aw was a nice and capable principal who was often in the news and newspapers last time giving her thoughts and views on education. She has the vision of making education as holistic as possible for the kids.... she introduced music to the school and the school even went hk disneyland to perform.... otherwise a lot of kids in the school are from poor families and wouldnt even have a chance to come into contact with music....

Sorry. I did not mean to be disrespectful to the former principal. What I meant to say was that 279 was probably then not in the top 5 in that year with quite a few others scoring above 280. It was thus then not regarded by the press as being the \" top tier \" of the top scores and not worth reporting. πŸ˜‰

No worries.... I just thought it will be good to highlight and give praise the good work and efforts the previous principal has done.... cheers.... πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks qms for ur reassurance. πŸ˜ƒ

Hi Average Joe, ive been reading your posts. You seem to have done a lot of 'homework' on various schs.

If convenient, may i ask which sch have you chosen for your child? πŸ˜‰
Hi KC Spider (fantastic nick, btw)

Frankly, I'm still torn between RMPS and RVPS though I'm leaning towards RMPS simply because of its proximity and location. But if i suspect that there is a balloting situation at RMPS, I will withdraw and opt for RVPS instead because I am no risk-taker. I have consulted the senior forumners here as well as friends who have kids/work in those schools. Happy to share more with you - just PM me. Cheers :celebrate:

              Hi all,

I am new here. Will be registering my eldest girl this/next week.

              I am considering between:
              APS (P2C <1km)
              RMPS (P2B 1-2km)
              Kellock (P2B 1-2km)

I am inclined towards APS as it’s the nearest of my choices and the school looks good. I would love to place my gal in Kellock as I am an old-girl. However, I have 2 boys.

Any comments? Is <1km safe for APS P2C?

Hi Lady FiFi, Kellock will be out for me, if you let me choose.

                Simply cos of the BOYS!

I wouldn't want to commit another round of grassroot, or pv.. :yikes:

APS <1km this year should be safe.

BTW, just curious, is there a validity period for the grassroot letter? Or can it be reused for registration in another year?

(i think i really shouldn't be advertising too much abt APS. I'm starting to get worried abt my son's chance now......)

If I am not wrong, u can only use the grassroots letter once. U have to get a new one for next year and so on....

Yah the boys are the reason why I am not going for Kellock although I loved my time there.

I am also worried about APS although I am within 1km. Natural worrier...

KC spider, are you within 1km too?

The grassroots letter is only for this year. Sad that I cannot use for APS coz it's across the road in TP GRC. 😞

Anyone knows the number of applicants for RMPS, Phase 2B, as of this morning?
