Lady Fifi:
Radin Mas - 17 registered. 20 vacancies.
You call the school? -
Lady Fifi, do u know how many grls were appointed for radin mas district last year?
Anyone notices those new HDB flats around That School? To be on the safe side, 1-2km people may need to find back up plan. -
Not sure about Radin Mas. But its a SMC so lesser ba.
Those new flats around THAT SCH came from Ghim Moh. -
Lady Fifi:
zp1503: are you 1 of the 17?
I wished...I'm one of the Phase 2C thus am hoping there is left over from Phase 2B -
APS students start swimming in P1 which I feel is too young for a child to manage on his own, packing, changing and showering. Chlorine should be washed off throughly or will affect sensitive skin. Plus lessons at 2pm in the scorching sun.
-
Hmm. Actually the studies have shown that the younger a child starts swimming, the better the mental development. But I agree about the showering part although my daughter is pretty much able to shower on her own after her swimming class. I just monitor her and give instructions if I see that she left out any part of her body. She does neglect the hair though.

Not to drown your joy, but I went to RVPS open house in June. Quite disappointed with my findings.
Thanks for sharing. Indeed, apart from physical location, I've generally heard only positive things about RVPS thus far.verykiasu:

As mentioned by parents earlier, I find RVPS quite run down. Secondly, they ushered us, the parents, around like soldiers. That makes me wonder if they do know how to handle children. Lastly, I'm not impressed by their presentation. -

Upon stepping into that school, a seven years old student actually attempted to be my guide, and I have to spend ten minutes with him, before finding an excuse to shake him off. But over all, I very impressed with what they have done to the children.
