Hi, RV is a popular school as well in this area and a vacancy is highly sought after. Perhaps you should monitor the registration and decide if its worthwhile to risk a switch on the last day. Believed that you wouldn't want to lose ur secured rv place and yet risk not able to secure a place in ALPS as well at end of day.Hi all parents! My wife was a former student of River Valley Primary so we managed to get a slot for my son next year. Currently, we are thinking of cancelling the slot and opt for Alexandra Primary instead. Our reasons are (1) very inconvenience for us to send and pick up our kid due to the location of RV. (2) is RV really that good or pple just send their kids there because of the name? anyone can share info? (3) though Alexandra is a new school but from what our friends told us and what we read from the forums many are positive feedbacks (4) from what we know the Principal and teachers at Alexandra Primary are experience and good! Are we correct?
We are in a dilemma situation! Any parents like us? Kindly share your experience n tips pls. Thank alot
All the best..... cheers -

Agreed. Don't take the risk. -
Thank for the advice! I think we should be okay since we stay within 1km of the school. Will keep monitor till the last day before we cancel our slot at RV.
May i ask usually how long will it takes for you to drive in ALPS and drop of your kid? -

Hi Mr Chia, if you're 1km to Fairfield , this year kinda risky for you to enrol APS. it was my last year experience. I balloted out from FF under 2B if uread my posts. I enrolled my gal in APS, it was rather fortunate as it was their 1st year in APS. But to our surprise, 2C fully taken up and left only 9 or 15vacancies for PR <1km to ballot. And i am SC >2km..this year we all predicted that SC>2km might need balloting etc..anyway Good luck to u !
Mr D Chia:
Hi Mr Chia, there were no vacanies left for phase 2C supp last year.Dino:
hi Parents...anyone have any idea how many seats were left for phase 2C Supplement last year? And what are the chances of 2C supplement this year for Singaporean? Thanks
Oh....that dont sound ideal for my plan....
Really in a dilemma now...i am within 1km from Fairfield, looking at the rate of application.. it is definitely gonna be 1:3 chances... my alternative is ALP if my son don't get balloted...
Any advice, parents?
-

Nope, he is not! But the little ones are great right - being the youngest participants so far.
