saw that many of you are going after membership of SHHK. Do you mind sharing in which year will you be registering your child esp for those who are targeting Tao Nan? :mrgreen:

to contribute based on my own experience, for sji junior only one parent need to be a catholic and provide baptism certificate for registration under phase 2b.

Hi, I have enquired with the schools directly.


For CHIJ TP, we just need to bring the parent's baptism certificate at the time of phase 2B registration. However, for Maris Stella High, the child himself need to be a baptised roman catholic before he can qualify under phase 2B.

Hence, depends on which school you are interested in, you have to enquire with the school directly.

could you verify if both parents need to produce baptism certificate or only one (like sjij).

Does any parent have any information on Chongfu? Is it as difficult to get in as the other schools?

Any idea how long before the P1 registration would we know if can get letter from SHHK? Will we know before whole P1 registration start or only before the phase 2B registration?

I only rec’d the recommendation 1-2 days before phase 2B…very very anxious…then have to call SHHK to check…hotline since morning!!

I was still hoping that we are able to know before the P1 registration start so that if can't get letter, I can go straight to my ex-sch to register under phases 2A2 (but it's further from my home lor)

How long did you join as member before the P1 registeration?

I have sent in my application end last yr. Have to wait for their meeting. Think by the time they approved, i only have slightly more than a yr to my gal's P1 registration! So scary
