i wonder if this contributes to the value of the house (be it for rental or resale).. :please:
I have same thought as you. now looking for the hse there. so pricey man.... -
For those thinking of doing PV.
No need to think la. Don't repeat the same mistake like me. Once you see the PV announcement in sch website, quickly submit! You procrastinate, thinking if you have time, thinking what the school wants from you, thinking if you can do the job well.. and then in the end you'll never submit. :imconstipated:
These days, for PV, it's the school select you. Not you select the school.
Nobody knows what kind of 'talented parents' the school need. So no point thinking so much also. Just submit.
Very auntie right. So naggy. -
KC Spider:
Its true, I volunteered for all time slots and offers to teach as well, whatever skills that they listed down, I tick \"YES\". They still reject me. hahaFor those thinking of doing PV.

Can anyone recall, last year during 2C registration for That School, thereβs a white board which showed the number of registrants.
Did the school showed the breakdown of no. of applicants in each distance?
eg. 69 <1 km -

I have entertained the idea of renting out my current flat and renting a smaller apartment near the school, but it is still a sizeable net outlay. -
hi, classmonitor, I like u thinking, we do have the same thinking, but.......is very risky la! thinking......if unlucky, need to go for 2cs which is limited schools available and limited places! furthermore need to take leave and monitor any minute here and there. o! very headache la!
Yar Hor !! Anything is also possible. ( Brazil also can lose to Germany 1:7 right ? ).
Ehm.. I am also within 1 km of RM... I shall wait till the eleventh of the eleventh hour to make my choice by looking at the eleventh hour odds.
ya la! broke the record 1:7...... alamat!!
o....last second of registration is the most excited one!
\"wait to last second\" is the phase that I heard almost every day recently, my friends, my son's classmates' parents.... :slapshead:
Haha.. I actually do not think you should wait till the last minute. Since u r very sure RM is your first choice, you should register it on the 1st day so as to \" scare other people off \". You then can monitor the situation till the afternoon of the 3rd day and if the odds are too much for you to take ( too many risk takers within 1 km ), you then can withdraw and register at somewhere else.
By the way, withdrawal is free of charge.

try to look for a white board in the school office when u register, u maybe able to spot the no. of applicants and their reference distance. this will let u have a rough idea of the chance u may have..... :rubhands:

KC Spider:
Yes they do but only sgp and pr.... no distance and its quite nerve whecking and yet exciting at same time..... everyone will wait eagerly for updatesCan anyone recall, last year during 2C registration for That School, there's a white board which showed the number of registrants.
