      sgwave:
I think everyone should just register as early as possible. Why? So that it gives yourself and others a clear indication of the chances. If everyone wait and see and all register on the last day...will have heart attack esp if first 2 days low registration and there is surge in application on the last day after the registration closed, resulting in a reduced chance where you might not be prepared to take *faint* :slapshead:

For most popular schools, 80% of parents would register on the 1st day, 5% on 2nd day, and 15% on 3rd day.

For schools which are considered 2nd-stringers, about 50% would register on 1st day, 10% on 2nd day and 40% on 3rd day, when parents give up on their 1st choice for a safer 2nd choice.

So don't worry so much. Things will work out in their own ways!

Called MGS at around 11am today. Heard from the staff <1km already 15 SP registered. Also heard that there are at least 2 sets of twins this time. Think its gonna be another tough round of balloting this time…any one got any updates fom Pei Hwa or RGPS? Thank you!

          I left ACSP about 10, and total registration were 18 (SC:16; PR:2).

Then I checked to ACSJ, their last update on 8:30 shown only online registration which 6/1/6 based on distance (<1k/1-2/>2).

          Anybody knows the latest?

May I know where did you see the ACSJ update?

You must enter into the registration room. There is a white board inside the room.

Can anyone advise me if one stands a better chance if he is staying nearer, for eg. 2.1km compare to the other who is staying 5km away from choice school?

            Thank you!:)

No. 2.1km has equal chance as 10km.

Hello parents. I'm Pearl from The Straits Times, and I'm looking to speak to some parents who are taking part in this year's Phase 2C registration exercise. Do you think the new rule of reserving 20 places in phase 2C in all schools been helpful? What do you think of it? Please contact me at [email protected] or 63195875 if you would like to share your experience. Will PM you my mobile phone number too if you PM me. Thanks parents!

Sorry for the twins, does that mean if 1 of them gets in and the other one will automatic qualify for a seat? 2 pairs = 4 seats? Thanks for clarification.

Yes. 2 pairs = 4 seats. When comes to ballot, those two numbers for twins will be written on one ball.
